I developed an interest in photography at a very early age. My Dad was an avid amateur photographer and a lifetime member of the local camera club, Mum always said he would never leave home without a camera. I became actively involved in the photographic club and local photographic competitions. We were fortunate to have a full darkroom at home and I enjoyed both colour and black processing. After completing school, I worked in the photographic industry as an industrial sales representative for Photographic Wholesalers.

I married my partner Jayne in in 1981 and we were blessed to have two children, not so young anymore.  A young family with a busy lifestyle, coupled with a change of career path places large demands on a young family’s time, and unfortunately, I lost touch with my photography. Looking back, it is one of my great regrets that I didn’t try harder to find the time to pursue this passion.

About 10 years ago I had the opportunity to rekindle my interest in photography and in particular landscape and seascapes photography. There is nothing better than being on a deserted beach at first light or sunset. I truly believe we have so much beauty in South Australia that often goes unnoticed as people are drawn to travel interstate and overseas. I love to spend time driving around our great state looking for new locations.

I hope that you enjoy my images.
